# Social Account

There are many solutions out there that use social accounts to act as signers. By combining Versa with such services, you can use your familiar social accounts (Google, Apple ID, Email, etc.) as guards to protect your on-chain accounts.

Currently, we are using [Web3Auth](https://web3auth.io/docs/content-hub/guides/single-factor-auth) to connect social accounts to signers as they offer a customized authentication flow.

{% hint style="info" %}
We understand the concerns behind MPC-based key generation methods (Key shares cannot be revoked, shares are held custodial, etc.) In the future, Versa aims to integrate with a service with the most ideal balance between security and UX.
{% endhint %}
